History

Keystone International was incorporated in 1991 by Heather A. Wilson, the current Congresswoman from New Mexico's First Congressional District, as a New Mexico-based "C" corporation.  She was instrumental, for example in assisting Martin Marietta; later to become Lockheed Martin, secure the contract with the Department of Energy for the management of Sandia National Laboratories.

In 1994, Gary Van Valin joined Keystone and two years later purchased the Company and assumed the position of president and chief executive officer.  As a result of his leadership, Keystone has continually evolved and prospered.  Mr. Van Valin has increased the Keystone staff to include over 200 full-time and part time employees and individual subcontractors functioning as consultants. He has been integral in securing subcontracts to provide technical support services at the Nevada Test Site and other Department of Energy site offices.  To better serve our clients at the Nevada Test Site, Mr. Van Valin established an additional office in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999.

The Company, from its inception, has been dedicated to providing organizational development consulting and technical support services to Defense, Energy, and highly technical companies and government agencies.  Keystone has worked with clients locally, nationally, and internationally to provide them with affordable, responsive, and unsurpassed service.  Keystone has grown to a multi-million dollar, Small Business Administration certified, small business.
