Dr. John Drozdal |
Dr. John Drozdal is a consultant for Keystone International and the President of the Drozdal Company. Dr. Drozdal facilitates learning through customized workshops on topics such as performance management, power and influence, decision-making, leadership and communication skills for difficult conversations. He also specializes in team building and interventions, coaching, conflict transformation, and facilitated planning sessions.
Dr. Drozdal and a team of Keystone colleagues have spent significant time working to truly understand two key organizational culture issues facing most every organization: the effects of difficult people (bullies and beyond) on the work place and the first workforce made up of four generations. This knowledge has resulted in unique and effective approaches to dealing with both of these challenges.
Dr. Jacqueline Hood |
Dr. Jacqueline Hood is an organizational behavior and organizational development consultant for Keystone International, Inc. and a Professor at the Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico. Her consulting activities include facilitating team building sessions, coaching, developing effective interpersonal communication skills, assisting strategic management initiatives, mediating conflict situations, and management training for managers and executives.
Dr. Hood's areas of expertise are diverse and she is especially interested in organizational needs assessments, culture change management, dealing with difficult people (bullies and beyond) in the workplace, and diversity issues. She was recently selected as a New Mexico Business Weekly 2007 Power Broker and as a Woman of Influence.
Ms. Karen Paone |
Ms. Karen Paone is a consultant for Keystone International, Inc. specializing in strategic planning, business communications consulting, development and training, and management and executive coaching. Her experience includes more than 20 years of strategic planning, public speaking, project management, training, meeting facilitation, and management. Ms. Paone is a skilled facilitator and a knowledgeable and entertaining speaker. Her speaking engagements have taken her throughout New Mexico and from California to North Carolina.
Ms. Paone has taught a lecturer for the Executive MBA Program at the University of New Mexico's (UNM), and as consultant and trainer for the UNM Management Development Center. Prior to starting her own company, Ms. Paone was Vice President of Planning & Administration at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico where she was responsible for strategic planning, market research, internal communications, human resources, administrative services, and information technology.
Ms. Katie Snapp |
Ms. Katie Snapp is a consultant for Keystone International, Inc. and President of Kessinger Consulting, LLC. Ms. Snapp began her professional career as an electrical engineer and then evolved into an organizational development facilitator, trainer, and consultant. Her workshop and consulting services are tailored for each client to best develop potential and extend effectiveness of individuals and organizations. Since 1988, Ms. Snapp has been involved in the early development of major company-wide efforts toward process improvement and leadership teaming.
Ms. Snapp uses an interactive, personal approach to extending individual and team potential. Her coaching style draws in the client through powerful questions and engaging dialogue. By introducing her experience in dozens of industries, she helps clients recognize leadership issues as universal challenges and shares tools and techniques to advance their development.
Ms. Anne Lightsey |
Ms. Anne Lightsey began training in 1984, when she lived overseas, specializing in preparing individuals for the changes they would encounter abroad. Today, as a consultant for Keystone International, Inc., she specializes in communication skills, time and stress management, negotiation skills, and planning and delegating for success.
Ms. Lightsey became a certified mediator in 1991 and has mediated over 300 workplace, community, family, and commercial cases. In addition to mediating, she also specializes in training individuals and groups on how to prevent conflict, how to minimize it, and very specific skills to utilize when in difficult conversations or situations. She believes teamwork is important and has proven techniques, which enable workforces to build the solid foundations vital for high performing teams. As a professional organizer, she utilizes her time management and problem solving expertise to help clients create time and space for what is truly important to them.
Dr. Bobby Holstead |
Dr. Bobby Holstead provides both individual coaching sessions and conflict resolution/mediation services with a practical, directive, and interactive style focused on behavior change and communication enhancement. He has been in private practice in Albuquerque since 1981. In his clinical practice, he treats adults with depression, anxiety, traumatic stress, and complicated medical conditions. He was also a founder and owner of Aspen Behavioral Health, PC, from 1997-2005, here in New Mexico. At Aspen, Dr. Holstead helped manage the delivery of behavioral health services to about 75,000 members in both commercial and government funded insurance plans in New Mexico.
Dr. Holstead has over 25 years of clinical, consultative, and management experience in the field of behavioral health. He has served as the Clinical Psychologist at Kirtland Air Force Base (1978-1981). He has also held Clinical Associate positions at University of New Mexico Department of Psychology and the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. He also has extensive experience working with Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
Mr. Mark Walch |
Mr. Mark Walch has been working in the field of personal growth and education for over 25 years. He has led thousands of people through experiential training and ropes courses around the world. Mr. Walch has worked with a wide variety of diverse groups including adults, educators, mental health professionals, and youth of all ages. He has led several local healthcare organizations in trainings and retreats and served as a department director for a local hospital.
Mr. Walch offers a unique perspective into corporate training. His insight allows new perspectives to be discovered by the participants, usually through innovative program design and approaches. His use of experiential techniques and design bring fun and lightness to the work environment, which allows for deeper understanding of the issues and challenges as well as the opportunities available to the group.

 Ms. Wendy Shannon |
Ms.Wendy Shannon, MS, SPHR, has over 25 years of experience in the human resource field and is the owner and principal consultant of Human Resources Works, LLC. She has conducted training for the American Institute of Banking, taught graduate level human resources courses and co-authored a book, Personnel and the Law.
Ms. Shannon has extensive experience dealing with hospitals, banks, call centers and high-tech companies. Additionally, she has worked with state agencies, Native American organizations, and non-profit organizations. Her training and consulting expertise include compensation, performance evaluations, teambuilding, change management, motivating employees and supervisory and management skills. She has special interests in the impacts of generational issues at work and developing hiring practices to avoid "mistake hires," especially difficult people (bullies and beyond).
Dr. Ron Detry |
Dr. Ronald (Ron) Detry retired from Sandia National Laboratories as Vice President of Security and Information and Chief Security Officer. He spent thirty-four of his thirty-eight years at Sandia in management and leadership positions, with twenty-four of those at senior management and executive levels. He was one of the key developers of a leadership development program for middle and senior level management and played a key role in the delivery of five sessions of the program between 2000 and 2008. He was asked to continue in that role following his retirement in 2007, and has continued mentoring members of Sandia's management at their request. He has an interest in finding leadership lessons in unconventional places and applying them in leadership development. He is interested in using his experience (good and bad) in assisting others in their leadership journey and in helping; them develop a habit of seeking leadership lessons broadly for their own continued growth.
A mathematician by training, Ron earned his BS, MS and PhD degrees from Illinois Institute of Technology, the last in 1969. He is a member of Sigma Xi, the national research society.

Ms. Polly McLaughlin

Polly McLaughlin, M.Ed., began corporate training and facilitation over 25 years ago in her own business and expanded her experience working with a large training and consulting organization, Wilson Learning Corporation. Later as Vice President and Director of Training and Marketing for a banking, mortgage, and insurance company, she was responsible for developing training curriculum in partnership with senior management and implementing company-wide initiatives in customer service and sales, marketing and business development, strategy development and implementation, communication and interpersonal skill building, and other related topics.
Polly worked extensively with Senior Management and employees to improve sales and customer service. Additionally, as a certified meeting and team facilitator, she has assisted companies in building consensus and teams to develop processes to increase efficiency and improve the bottom line. Polly earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Education at Colorado State University.
